Strategic Business Analyst
Job Description
- Immediate Hiring
- Challenging opportunity as a Strategic Business Analyst who will be instrumental in supporting the management of company performance, strategic planning, and operational efficiency.
- The role should be skilled at both qualitative and quantitative analysis, with a keen insight into business processes and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Assist in the analysis and formulation of strategic initiatives by gathering data, conducting analyses, and presenting findings.
- • Collaborate with the Strategy & Business Insights Manager to refine and implement the company’s strategic goals.
- • Support the development and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for various departments.
- • Analyze performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- • Collect and analyze both financial and non-financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- • Support the development and improvements of departmental dashboards in collaboration with Information Capital team.
- • Develop regular reports on company performance, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and support the arrangements of reports distribution and presentation.
- • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning and market positioning.
- • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide insights on potential strategic moves.
- • Provide analytical support for strategic projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and performance goals.
- • Contribute to cross-functional project teams, offering insights and analysis to guide project direction.
Qualifications and skills required:
- • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, strategic planning, or a related field, preferably within the Hospitality or F&B sector.
- • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields is required.
- • Advanced degrees or certifications in business analysis or project management are a plus.
- • Proficient in the use of data analytics tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar.
- • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.
Qualifications and skills preferred:
- • Advanced financial modeling skills including prediction and forecasting analytics.
- • Experience in Microsoft Viva Goals.
- • Skills with using SQL and Microsoft Dataverse to extract and manipulate data.
- • Programing or scripting languages such as Python, R or C++ is a plus.
- • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
