Starfield: Superfan Walkthrough

[ad_1]

Much like Bethesda’s previous open-world RPGs, Starfield contains a number of unique side quests which help to reveal more about the game world and the characters within it. As one of the most vibrant and populated settlements in the game, Neon is home to many interesting missions and activities, offering enough content to keep players busy for days at a time without ever leaving the sea-based city.

One of Neon’s main attractions is the Astral Lounge in Bayu Plaza. This futuristic nightclub is central to many missions involving both the main quest and Ryujin Industries faction storyline. One of its main celebrities is the music producer and DJ, BorealUS. Players can hear characters on the dance floor remark on her abilities, but players can actually meet the star herself and offer their services for her peculiar personal problem.

How To Find BorealUS

Starfield Superfan Walkthrough BorealUS

Players can find BorealUS by visiting the DJ booth in the Astral Lounge. To access it, players will need to take the elevator up to the second floor and then turn right before passing through a door marked “Staff Only.” Security will not intervene if players pass through, and the door is unlocked, so it is not considered trespassing. BorealUS can be found among a futuristic ensemble of sequencers and buttons on the platform suspended above the center of the dance floor below.

Upon speaking with BorealUS (who sounds suspiciously as though she is voiced by Bjork, or at least a very good impersonator), she will complain of a stolen music slate containing her upcoming releases. She tells the player to speak to Myka, the bartender in Ebbside’s Euphorika nightclub, for more information.

How To Get The Music Slate

Starfield Superfan Walkthrough Stratos

Head to Euphorika and speak with Myka, who reveals that the slate has been stolen by a fanatic BorealUS fan named Stratos. Stratos can be found loitering around Madame Sauvage’s Place, and is identifiably by his piercings and retro hairstyle. Upon speaking with Stratos, it quickly becomes clear that he is not willing to sell the slate. However, his weakness for Aurora can be exploited, since he claims he is unable to enjoy the music without taking heavy doses of the substance.

There are several ways players can go about obtaining the Aurora for Stratos. It can be purchased either from Boone, the main bartender in the Astral Lounge, or from the VIP area of Euphorika. In order to access Euphorika’s VIP area, players will need to pay a fee of 1000 credits to Myka. Alternatively, players can make their own Aurora by partaking in another small questline which is started by speaking to Neshar in the Neon Security HQ prison cells. Having obtained the substance, which should be relatively easy in Neon given that it is the only legal place to purchase it in the Settled Systems, give it to Stratos in exchange for the slate.

It is also possible for players with a high enough Persuasion skill to simply use dialogue in order to persuade Stratos to hand it over. Given that he is quite difficult to convince, it may be beneficial to consume certain Aids such as wine before the conversation. With the slate secured, players can return to BorealUS at the DJ booth in the Astral Lounge, where they will recieve 3800 Credits and 100 XP.

Starfield is available now for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
