All Dreamstone Locations In Veridian Valley
[ad_1]
Dreamstones are essential for dinosaur care in Paleo Pines, a dino farm sim game by studio Italic Pig. In Paleo Pines, dinosaurs have many different care needs, from adequate food, pen space, attention, and more. Dreamstones are mysterious pink, quartz-like crystals that every dinosaur needs for comfort and to soothe them to sleep.
Fortunately, players can find dreamstones of different shapes and sizes while exploring the beautiful dinosaur game’s island environment and its various areas, like the starting region of Veridian Valley. However, finding all dreamstone locations can be tricky as many are hidden or locked behind blocked zones across the valley.
How To Get Dreamstone In Paleo Pines
Players can get most dreamstones naturally out in the wild, where they are discoverable across Paleo Pines‘ map in sizes from small to large. However, many are hidden behind bushes, branches, and other debris like rocks that players need other types of dinosaurs to clear, like the Smasher Styracosaurus for rocks and Stomper Ankylosaurus for logs.
It is also possible to make custom dreamstone orders from Marlo the carpenter’s stall in the village. However, players must pay for these using in-game shell currency that’s obtainable by completing quests or sometimes gifted by villagers. For custom orders from Marlo, both a small and large dreamstone sleeping patch cost 250 shells each and take one in-game day to show up at the ranch mailbox. Some NPCs may also give the player dreamstones as gifts or rewards.
Once players have a dreamstone, they should put it inside a pen for each dinosaur living there as they act as a sleeping spot. Dreamstone sleeping patches are also upgradeable, giving them a more attractive, tent-design appearance using collectible resources like dandelions, fiber, and wood. Upgrading also changes the biome type of a pen. All dinosaurs must have a dreamstone to remain happy and stay on the player’s ranch as part of their core care needs.
Dreamstone Locations In Veridian Valley
There are around 18 dreamstones to discover in Veridian Valley that are split into two different sizes: 11 large dreamstones as marked on the above map via the big pink circles, and seven small dreamstones via the smaller circles. The last large dreamstone is located in the Mysterious Garden area to the northeast of the map which Paleo Pines players can get after repairing a section of the garden.
As players explore and unlock more areas of the map, they can find even more dreamstones within the forest of Dapplewood and in the desert area. However, to get all the dreamstones, players need to befriend dinosaurs with the smasher, stomper, and slasher abilities.
There are only large and small dreamstones in Paleo Pines, and larger dinosaur species require a large dreamstone, whereas small dinos such as a Pssitacosauris only need a small one to support their wellbeing.
Paleo Pines is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
