All Abbasiyah Gear Chest Locations (& How to Get Them)

There are six Gear Chests in Assassin’s Creed Mirage‘s Abbasiyah territory, and they hold the Zanj Uprising Dagger, the Abbasid Knight Sword, and Upgrade Schematics that can be used to improve those two weapons. While it is certainly not mandatory that those items be collected, players that want to “fully explore” the territory will need to obtain them all. AC Mirage: The Four Markets Gear Chest
AC Mirage‘s Four Markets Gear Chest is in a building in the southwest corner of the area, and the first step toward accessing it is obtaining the Four Markets Storage Key. To obtain that key, fans should make their way to the position that is shown on the following map, enter the building with the purple awning and red symbol above its door, and pickpocket the NPC that is standing by the window upstairs.
With the key in hand, players should head to the position shown in the following images, open the door with the purple awning, and unbar the door that is inside. Fans should now pick up one of the nearby red pots, carry it through the door that was just unbarred, walk northward, and use the pot to destroy the rubble in the wall on the right side.
AC Mirage players should now climb the ladder that is just across from the rubble and jump back across to the wood awning. From this position, fans can toss a Throwing Knife through the window to detonate some large red pots in the room with the Gear Chest, creating a hole in the floor.
To reach that hole, players should enter the area beyond the rubble and pull a movable bookshelf underneath it. Fans will then be free to loot the Gear Chest, which holds the Zanj Uprising Dagger or an associated Upgrade Schematic.
AC Mirage: Scholar’s Estate Gear Chest
The Scholar’s Estate Gear Chest in AC Mirage also requires a key, and that can be found in the building in the southeast corner of the area. After collecting that key, fans should break the window that leads into the Gear Chest’s room, move the shelves that block the container, and collect the Abbasid Knight Sword (or an Upgrade Schematic) from it.
AC Mirage: Hammam Gear Chest
Players that are working to collect the Hammam Gear Chest in AC Mirage should begin by navigating to the complex’s bath area and unbarring the door in the northwest corner. There is a movable shelf in the room beyond that door, which blocks an exit, and players should carry one of the nearby red pots through it, walk to the southeast, and throw the vessel at the rubble in the wall on the left. These actions will give fans access to the Gear Chest, which holds the Zanj Uprising Dagger or an associated Upgrade Schematic.
AC Mirage: Scriptorium Gear Chest
Players should begin by getting on the roof above the Scriptorium Gear Chest. From this position, fans can jump onto a balcony that gives direct access to the room with the container, which holds the Abbasid Knight Sword (or an Upgrade Schematic for that weapon in AC Mirage).
AC Mirage: House of Wisdom Gear Chest
AC Mirage‘s House of Wisdom Gear Chest is in the complex’s highest tower, and fans will need the Astronomical Library Key to access it. That key can be obtained by pickpocketing a non-hostile NPC on the roof, and their position is shown on the following map.
After collecting the key, players should climb to the top of the tower that holds the Gear Chest and use a Throwing Knife to drop the chandelier that can be seen through the window. This action will create a hole in the ceiling of the Astronomical Library, which is lower in the tower, giving players access to the Gear Chest, which awards the Abbasid Knight Sword or an associated Upgrade Schematic.
AC Mirage: The Great Bimaristan Gear Chest
This AC Mirage Gear Chest is in a tower on the east side of the Great Bimaristan, and a barred door initially prevents players from reaching it. Fortunately, that bar can easily be removed by tossing a Throwing Knife through the window on the other side of the tower, and fans will need to move a shelf inside the room to access the Gear Chest, which holds the Zanj Uprising Dagger or an Upgrade Schematic.
