Destiny 2: How to Get Acosmic

[ad_1]
Since the second year of Destiny 2, Festival of the Lost has made its return year after year. While the event has changed drastically since it first started, it has been a consistent experience every time. From the comical masks that players can equip to the spooky music and decorations that make the Tower feel appropriately festive, there are some things that stay the same for this event.
One such thing that players won’t be surprised about is that there is a brand-new weapon added this year. The tradition began with Horror Story in 2018 and has continued on. Now as Festival of the Lost begins once again in Destiny 2, players can obtain a festive new weapon called Acosmic.
How to Get Acosmic
Acosmic is a heavy, rapid-fire frame Grenade Launcher that does void damage. Just like with all Festival of the Lost weapons that are currently available in the game, Acosmic can be acquired by completing Haunted Sectors. Once the boss is dead, players will get Manifested Pages (if they had any Spectral Pages to convert), a bunch of candy, random Legendary quality armor, and occasionally a Festival of the Lost weapon.
It is not uncommon to get one or more weapons per completion. So if players are lucky they may get two Acosmics, or they may get an Acosmic and a Jurassic Green. Alternatively, players can also acquire an Acosmic simply by completing the entire intro quest for this year’s Festival of the Lost. This also is how players get the Clovis Bray mask that is needed to obtain the Lost Memento.
In addition to being a quest reward and a random drop, Destiny 2 players can also obtain Acosmic by focusing an Eerie Engram. This will require players to have a good amount of candy, so they may want to farm some first before trying to focus Eerie Engrams for better rolls on Festival of the Lost weapons.
What is the God Roll for Acosmic?
For any player chasing a randomly dropped gun in Destiny 2, the most important thing to keep in mind is what perks the weapon drops with. As of 2023, Festival of the Lost weapons have two Origin Traits that players can choose from instead of one. Of the two, Nadir Focus is easily the best since it can boost the velocity of Acosmic.
What perks can be considered a god roll will vary depending on if players intend to use the weapon for PvE or PvP. For PvP players will want to look for perks like Impulse Amplifier and Wellspring. On the other hand, Acosmic performs well in PvE with Clown Cartridge and Explosive Light.
Destiny 2 is available now on Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
