How to Unlock the Touch The Sky Office Vault in Payday 3

While infiltrating the penthouse suite in Payday 3‘s Touch the Sky heist, players will have to gain access to the security chief’s phone and unlock the penthouse office vault.
In order to access the office, players will need to find the filing office and acquire the penthouse office key card from within. Doing so will allow Payday 3 player to unlock the vault and open the way to the big loot, the encrypted hard drive.
Hacking the Phone
After securing the upper floor of the penthouse, players will need to turn their attention towards acquiring the QR code from the phone of the security chief. The chief is easily identifiable by his all-black suit and sunglasses, and his immediate reaction is to pull a gun the moment he sees trouble.
If the security chief is not upstairs at the start of the heist, players can simply wait for him to patrol the area to grab him while he is isolated from the other guards. Shade will mention to players that the chief is heading towards them. When this happens, players should be sure to let him walk all the way to the upper floor to ensure he is not spotted by another guard downstairs while being taken hostage. With the chief secured, players should move him further out of view to ensure that no straggling guards stumble upon him if they wander upstairs.
Players should answer the radio when the other guards check in to avoid any suspicion.
Once out of sight, interact with the phone on the chief’s belt to initiate the hack. Players can simply remain nearby to complete the process. Once the hack completes, players will acquire the QR code that can be used to unlock the filing office. The filing office will be found in one of the back hallways, either upstairs by the elevator or downstairs by the balcony. Players may also want to take a moment to search for the poison, found in the storage room on the lower level. This can be used later to quietly open the vault.
Taking Care of Mason
Inside the filing office, search the filing cabinets for the red keycard that will give players access to the upstairs office. Press the button on the desk to reveal the hidden vault with the biometric scanner. After revealing the vault, Shade will inform players of an executive downstairs who has access to open the vault. If players acquired the poison from the storage room, they can attempt to sneak it into Mason’s drink at the bar to cause him to head upstairs and lie down. Alternatively, players can shout down all the civilians, take Mason hostage, and lead him to the vault.
Once Mason has been thrown into the vault, the encrypted hard drive will be available, and players can begin working toward the bedroom vault. If players misstep and lose Mason or set off alarms prior to his arrival, the office vault can still be unlocked with a thermite drill; players will just have to fight their way through the police assault. If things go wrong, access the safe, plant the drill, and prepare for a fight. Tending to the drill while it’s operating will prevent it from jamming and expedite the break in process.
