Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is an immersive survival crafting game that unfolds in the Fourth Age of the Middle-earth. One of the greatest Dwarven kingdoms, Moria, also known as Khazad-dûm or Dwarrowdelf, fell into darkness when the Balrog seized control and forced the Dwarves to abandon their ancestral home.
Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria follows a company of Dwarves as they set out on a mission to reclaim their homeland, after the defeat of the Balrog. Amidst the ruins of Moria, players can find small campsites left behind by skilled Rangers who valiantly defended the ancient kingdom and its surrounding lands from Orcs, Goblins, and other dark creatures. At these campsites, players can find pages from journals that these Rangers left behind.
Where to Find Ranger Pages in LOTR: Return to Moria
As players venture deeper into the cryptic ruins of Moria and come across the Ranger campsites, they might stumble upon a mysterious Ranger Journal hidden inside one of the tattered Bedrolls.
The Ranger Journal is a collection of notes and observations made by rangers who once patrolled the halls of Moria. However, it is incomplete – the missing pages are scattered throughout the vast underground realm.
Since Moria is a procedurally generated world, each expedition presents a unique experience. Therefore, the Ranger Journal Pages do not have a fixed spawn point. Players can find these missing pages hidden in a variety of places, including abandoned houses and towers, Orc outposts, and other Ranger camps. Players can use their pickaxe to dig rocks and debris to find Ranger Pages hidden underground.
The best shot players have at finding Ranger Pages early in the game is by thoroughly exploring The Western Halls of the Mines of Moria. As they explore all the rooms, players need to check every nook, corner, chest, and structure to increase their chances of discovering a Ranger Page. Sometimes, they might have to break various structures to find these pages.
Ranger pages are not mere collectibles; they play a unique role in enhancing the overall gaming experience. These pages add depth to the storytelling, allowing players to learn more about the history and lore of Moria and the rangers who once protected it.
Lord of the Rings: Return To Moria is available on PC. The PS5 version launches on December 5, and the Xbox Series X/S version is scheduled to release in early 2024.
