Every Possible Ending for Gale in Baldur’s Gate 3
[ad_1]
Gale is a mage in Baldur’s Gate 3 who was very close to the goddess Mystra due to his abilities. In an attempt to impress her, he wanted to gain access to mighty and dangerous magic, but as a result, the Netherese orb ended up in his chest. It has a huge power capable of destroying an entire city. To contain it, he must actually eat magical artifacts.
In the beginning, this companion is constantly asking for these artifacts from Baldur’s Gate 3 players, which is sometimes very annoying. However, he is still a good person who wants to help others. This can be seen in the end, since in most of the endings, he sacrifices his human form or even his life for others.
All Gale Endings in Baldur’s Gate 3
Gale Explode The Orb
This ending will be the finale for Gale and the whole story. When he encounters the Elder Brain in Act II, he will have the opportunity to explode himself to destroy it. However, this will not be a good ending as he will also kill the entire party. Also, the Illithid plague will continue to spread and take over the Sword Coast.
In the third Act, Gale will also have the chance to blow himself up with Elder Brain. But this time, he teleports his friends so they don’t die. The Illithid Empire will be defeated thanks to Gale’s sacrifice, and the player will get a good ending.
Gale Tries to Become God
This ending will start with Gale getting to Mystra. If the player chooses the second or third line after her question, she will offer to take a test. Gale will fail the test and die ignominiously as a victim of his ambition.
Gale Surrenders Crown
When Gale gets to Mystra, he will need to surrender the Crown. Mystra will make it clear that he made the right choice and lived up to expectations. Gale can now live in peace and maybe someday even be with Mystra.
Illithid Gale Surrenders Crown
If Illithid Gale surrenders the Crown, Mystra will offer to restore his humanity. To achieve this, he must leave the mortal world and go to Elysium. If he agrees, he will become the Chosen of Mystra. If he refuses, he will still receive the gratitude and favor of the goddess, so this is also a good ending.
Gale Becomes The Absolute
Gale can become the Absolute by betraying the party. He needs to kill the Mind Flayer Orpheus to gain control of the powerful deity.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is available now on PC and PS5, with an Xbox Series X version also in development.
