Minerals

Minerals are hidden treasures in the Mines, each with a unique visual allure waiting to be discovered. There are 53 Minerals that can be donated to the Museum’s collection for rewards and achievements. Minerals that haven’t been donated to the Museum will have an item description that states: “Gunther can tell you more about this if you donate it to the Museum.”

Minerals are generally of two types in Stardew Valley – Geode Minerals and Foraged Minerals.

Geode Minerals

what to do with geodes in stardew valley

Geodes are natural mineral deposits filled with various minerals. They are typically found by breaking rocks in the Mines. To extract the valuable minerals they contain, Geodes can be processed through The Geode Crusher, which requires 1 Coal for each Geode processed. Alternatively, players can visit Clint, the local Blacksmith, to break open the Geode. He charges 25 gold per Geode.

There are four types of Geodes in Stardew Valley, each containing exclusive minerals. However, the Omni Geode can contain any mineral.

Geode Type Minerals
